About P. T. (Project Textile)
Mission Statement:
“Project textile works to serve the unhoused communities of Pennsylvania by leveraging solely student leadership.”
Serving unhoused populations:
All of the drives and events that project textile holds benefit homeless shelters, schools, or community members directly.
We act as an entity that works to advance homeless-benefitting policy, awareness, and student involvement in the fight to end homelessness for good.
There are millions of people globally who suffer from homelessness. Project Textile pledges to alleviate the suffering and stigma that surrounds homeless individuals.
Student leadership:
Every. single. volunteer that works for project textile is a student
Even the president is a student and is attending Drexel University!
Events and drives:
Project textile goes about gathering all of its resources through holding drives, events, and fundraisers at mainly high schools.
Some of the most common events held are clothing drives, food drives, winter essentials drives, and more!
